De'Andre M. Salter, President
De’Andre M. Salter founded Professional Risk Solutions, LLC, in 2001. With his extensive background in insurance management and underwriting, Mr. Salter has built a thriving firm that emphasizes exceptional customer service and a wide range of product offerings.

Prior to founding Professional Risk Solutions, Mr. Salter was a Vice President with Crum & Forster. In that position, he developed, launched, and managed their Directors & Officers line of business; established underwriting guidelines, and pricing and rating formulae for the division to achieve profitability; and was responsible for securing reinsurance for multiple product lines.

Before joining Crum & Forster, Mr. Salter was an Assistant Vice President in the Executive Protection Practice of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. He had global responsibility for the practice’s first party products. He also conducted research into market conditions and other factors that would affect the introduction and success of emerging products.

Earlier, Mr. Salter served as Regional D&O Underwriting Manager for CNA Financial Insurance, where he expanded his territory into the western United States.

Highly regarded for his expertise in executive and professional liability insurance, Mr. Salter has served as an expert witness in D&O litigation claims for publicly traded companies. He has also been a featured speaker at Treasury Management Association, CFO Rising, and Risk Management and Insurance Association conferences. In addition, he has served as an instructor at the Chubb School of D&O Insurance.

Mr. Salter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Drew University, and Associate’s Degrees in International Business from the University of Brussels and the University of Mexico.
