What is Project Restoration?

Project Restoration was birthed from a vision given to Pastor Emma Salter. Determined to give back to the congregation, Pastor Salter founded the program to assist its members in eliminating debt and sub-standard credit.

Through Project Restoration, JTCM will invest in it's members by building their financial independence. The program has three phases of restoration:

• Financial Counseling - debt analysis & credit repair
  
• Financial Knowledge - education on money & credit management, stewardship
  
• Financial Support - money GRANTS for those who complete the program

Is this Scriptural?

Yes, as a matter of fact it is a practical application of Acts 4:32-37. In this passage of scripture, the New Testament church had a revelation far beyond tithing, it was called sharing. All members of the church brought all they had to the Apostles so that everyone could have something. This scripture outlines three major benefits associated with giving to the church:

1. The Apostles were able to give "great witness" (which means the church was able to reach more souls for the kingdom)
   
2. They all received "great grace" (favor from God to do His work and live well)
   
3. No one among them lacked (poverty was eliminated in the church).

If this scripture is applied today, Joy Tabernacle, will greatly prosper along with its members.

How is Project Restoration Funded?

The program is funded by contributing 15% the first fruits heave offering, 10% of the tithes taken in from the congregation and grants and donations from corporations and individuals.

What are the eligibility requirements?

It's simple - if your household tithed regularly for the past two years (except for periods of no income) and has severe financial burdens - then you are eligible. All applicants are fairly considered. Because funding is limited, not every family can be helped immediately. But we will get there - one family at a time!
