Higher Learning Christian
Academy offers a wide range of constructive experiences for children,
provides a competent caring staff, and has access to a variety
of support services available to parents. Parent participation
plays a large role in our programs because we recognize that the
family has the most influence on a child's growth and ability
to learn.
HLCA accepts children from the age of two (2)
to five (5) years old. The Academy offers pre-school, pre-k, and
full-time kindergarten classes.
The ABEKA curriculum used includes instruction
in the core area of early childhood education: Mathematics, Language
Arts, Science, Art, and Music. There is an emphasis on Reading
and Mathematics. The Academy's aim is to ensure that each child
is able to read when he/she is old enough to leave the school.
We are addressing the total child by enhancing their learning
spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and academically.
The Child Care Food Program is available to all children at no
charge. Higher Learning Christian Academy is operated on a
nondiscriminatory basis. We welcome all children
